Estibaliz Sádaba Murguía (Bilbao, 1963) is an artist with a PhD in Art and Research.
Among recent recognitions, she has received 2016 and 2018 grants from the Spanish Academy in Rome, a Multiverso Grant for Video Art Creation from the BBVA Foundation, the Art i Natura en Farrera Grant from art center La Panera de Lérida, and others from La Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, Fundación BilbaoArte, Museo Artium and Fundación Arte y Derecho. In the last few years she has shown her work at the MUSAC Contemporary Art Museum (León) and Matadero (Madrid), as well as presenting video creations at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid), MACBA and Fundació Antoni Tàpies (Barcelona) and CDAN (Huesca), among other venues. She has led workshops on artistic practice, activism and feminism in centers like Arteleku, Sala Rekalde or Tabakalera, and served as editor of the publications Erreakzioa, Joyas y Caprichos and Series Múltiples.
